My apologies for this late post, but I wanted to pay husband and wife baking team the ultimate compliment. I was thrilled to finally make the trek to Retro Bakery, Las Vegas. Retro’s cupcake menu is inspiring and will make you drool over all the varied and original cupcake flavors made fresh daily. Take my advice. Try them ALL!
Simply put, Retro Bakery makes the best cupcakes. Kari, in my humble opinion, is the Queen of Las Vegas Cupcakes. Personable, bubbly and one kick ass baker. I left Retro with over two dozen cupcakes and cinnamon and sugar cookies Saturday evening at closing time. This morning a tug of war ensued for the remaining three cupcakes. They were STILL moist and delicious as the moment my co-workers tore open the box on Saturday night.
More photos and Retro Bakery cupcake reviews to follow later. I can’t wait to share my new found cupcake love with Zen Cupcake’s readers.
Thank you Kari and Brian. Retro Bakery Rules!

It’s official. On Sunday, January 3, 2010, BabyCakes NYC opened its doors for business in Los Angeles. After hearing the announcement, I was anxious to try the cupcakes. The BabyCakes L.A. retail store is located at 130 East 6th Street, which straddles downtown’s Gallery Row and the Garment District.
